  On 8 July 2024 the Picton Botanic Gardens playspace and amenities were officially opened by Mayor Matt Gould and Local Member for Hume Angus Taylor MP. • Picton to Tahmoor Shareway - now complete

  Wollondilly residents can now walk or cycle between the towns of Picton and Tahmoor, with the completion of the new Picton to Tahmoor shareway.

  The Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts has begun consultation on two flight path proposals for the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. The proposals were developed in response to submissions on the draft Environmental Impact Statement for the preliminary flight paths held between 24 October 2023 and 31 January 2024.
