For ages 3 – 5 years.
Wollondilly Preschool is committed to providing quality education where local kids learn, play and grow as they get ready for Kindergarten. Our play-based program follows the Early Years Learning Framework, supporting every area of development. We’re lucky to be in a bright, purpose-built centre with spacious indoor and outdoor play areas including a big covered outdoor space with beautiful views of Vault Hill.
Family Day Care
For ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
Family Day Care provides quality care for children from birth to 13 years of age in the homes of approved Family Day Care Educators. Children are cared for in small groups, offering a nurturing and home-like environment. Families can choose flexible care arrangements based on their needs and educator availability.
School Holiday Care
For ages 5 – 12 years.
Our School Holiday Program is jam-packed with exciting activities to keep children engaged and entertained throughout the break. With a fun-filled schedule, it’s a great way for kids to stay active, social, and creative while school’s out.
Before & After School Care
For ages 5 – 13 years.
Before and After School Care offers a relaxed and supportive environment for school-aged children outside of school hours. With games, arts and crafts, and plenty of free play, kids can unwind and join in at their own pace while exploring fun and creative activities.

Our Preschool, Before & After School Care, School Holiday Care and our Family Day Care Coordination Office are located within the Children Service building here in Picton. Our services provide trusted care through innovative, flexible, caring and inclusive practices.
We offer highly competitive and all-inclusive fees within our services through the assistance of the Federal and State Governments. Start Strong and Child Care Subsidy are available to all eligible families to help keep child care affordable.
childcare FUNDING
CHILD CARE SUBSIDY
The Commonwealth Government provides Child Care Subsidy for Family Day Care, School Holiday Care and Before and After School Care to help with the cost of child care.
To be eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) you must:
- Provide care for a child 13 years or younger who does not attend secondary school, unless an exemption applies.
- Use an approved child care service
- Are the one responsible for paying child care fees
- Meet residency requirements
- Complies with immunisation requirements.

START STRONG FUNDING
The Start Strong Preschool Funding is a NSW Government program to deliver quality and affordable preschool education for children aged 3 – 5 years.
This funding is designed to significantly reduce preschool fees, making 600 hours per calendar year of early childhood education more affordable for families.
