Council advises that an Extraordinary Council Meeting will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday 16 June 2026.
At its Ordinary Council Meeting on 26 May 2026, Council resolved to hold this additional meeting to endorsement of the draft submission for Douglas Park Memorial Park, ensuring timely progression of this matter.
At this meeting Council will also consider a report to rescind Council’s current Code of Meeting Practice, which is based on the 2025 Model Code of Meeting Practice. This item is required to ensure Council remains compliant with legislative requirements following a decision of the NSW Parliament to disallow the 2025 Model Code of Meeting Practice.
This meeting will be open to the public in person, online via webcast and recorded.
