Aiming to retain a sense of the past for future generations, Wollondilly Shire Council is inviting feedback on proposed updates to the local heritage list in the Wollondilly Local Environment Plan 2011 (LEP).
Over the past three years, community members have helped contribute to a Shire Wide Heritage Study to update existing heritage items and identify potential places and items for heritage listing.

An upgrade to the BMX Park Adventure Play at Tahmoor Sportsground is now complete. An Official Opening was held on 25 September 2023 at the track with Mayor Matt Gould, and Member for Blacktown Stephen Bali MP as a representative for Places to Play, Member for Wollondilly, Judy Hannan, Councillors Banasik, Brandstater and Briggs along with BMX track users all in attendance.

Work on the first phase of the Dudley Chesham Sportsground Masterplan will begin soon, with a tender awarded at Tuesday night’s Council meeting for construction of an exciting new grandstand and amenities building on the site.

Work will soon begin on repairing long-term damage to an embankment on Remembrance Driveway, Razorback, with a view to opening up the second southbound lane to traffic near the top of the hill.
