The Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre (WPAC) has been officially opened.
The WPAC in Picton is a multi-format facility that includes a 350-seat venue for performances and large functions.

The Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts has begun consultation on two flight path proposals for the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. The proposals were developed in response to submissions on the draft Environmental Impact Statement for the preliminary flight paths held between 24 October 2023 and 31 January 2024.

Mayor Matt Gould has opened the Mayor’s Giving Tree Christmas Appeal for 2024 to help support those in the Wollondilly community who are doing it tough, this Christmas and beyond.
The Mayor is encouraging residents to embrace the spirit of giving by donating unwrapped gifts for children between 0-12 years old, gift vouchers for teenagers 13-17 years old or non-perishable food items to help families in need. All gifts can be dropped at one of the designated delivery points.
