On 8 July 2024 the Picton Botanic Gardens playspace and amenities were officially opened by Mayor Matt Gould and Local Member for Hume Angus Taylor MP. Equestrian jumper, 36-year-old Hilary Scott, resided at The Oaks from the age of 10. Her love of show-jumping started during her time with The Oaks Pony Club and has grown from there. Hilary is now based in the Netherlands where she competes across Europe and the USA.
