Infrastructure plays a crucial role in enhancing the liveability of communities, both new and existing, as it provides essential support for homes and jobs while improving productivity and public health.
Infrastructure contributions are made by developers in the form of money, land, works-in-kind, or a combination of these. They are a key source of funding for Council and the NSW Government to deliver key infrastructure such as new roads, community centres, libraries and recreation facilities arising from demand created by new development.
The main types of infrastructure contributions are:
Thirlmere Festival of Steam
Huff N Puff Road Race and Family Fun Run
National Sorry Day – Community Commemoration
Community to have their say on Bargo Sportsground Master Plan
Council votes not to support Planning Proposal for Appin Part 2 Precinct
