  This week’s closure of the historic Victoria Bridge on Prince Street for upgrades by Transport for NSW has once again highlighted the urgent need for a bypass to allow traffic to flow freely through the Picton town centre.

• New Operational Plan & Budget to focus on roads, job creation, customer service and organisational performance

  Wollondilly Council is now seeking feedback on its draft annual Operational Plan and Budget, which focuses on the key areas of roads, jobs, customer experience and organisational performance.

• Council launches new online booking system for Duty Planners

  Council is making a number of improvements to its Development Information Service, and this week has launched a new online booking system which gives customers the opportunity to make an appointment with a Duty Planner, at a time that suits them, to discuss the development application process.

• Student’s environmental message is displayed on waste collection truck as new in-house service begins

  A Douglas Park Primary School student has had her artwork featured on a new waste compactor truck as part of Wollondilly Council’s new public bin servicing initiative.
  
  The winner of the art competition for local schools, Sophie (7), was congratulated by Councillors and staff at the launch of the new truck on Thursday.

  South West Sydney Health has responded quickly to local case locations and agreed to arrange a pop up facility at Bargo Sportsground tomorrow (Sunday), following requests from Council and Nathaniel Smith MP.
