Youth Week is celebrated every year in April and is an opportunity for young people to:
- share ideas
- attend live events
- have their voices heard on issues of concern to them
- showcase their talents
- celebrate their contribution to the community
- take part in competitions
- have fun!

Lost Mummy Escape Room Uncover the mystery of the lost Mummy. An escape room challenge for young people aged 10 to 25 years old. Bring some friends or make new ones while you use your brains and problem-solving in a race to solve the mystery and escape the tomb.

RAYN Rainbow Advocacy Youth Network Join Big Yellow Umbrella, Uniting and Reframe’ s youth workers at Tahmoor’s Community Centre’s Youth Hub as they launch RAYN, a LGBTIQA+ youth group in Wollondilly. RAYN is for 12 to 17 years old’s and will run every 3rd Friday this year. RAYN is free for all young people and free food and drinks will be supplied. WIRES Wildlife Foodbank Planting Wollondilly Shire Council is partnering with WIRES and local wildlife carers to establish a wildlife food bank at Tahmoor park. We are planting 500 trees, shrubs and ground covers to provide local wildlife carers with a safe, easily accessible and sustainable food source for native animals in rehabilitation. We’d love you to join us and help establish this valuable resource. Come along, get your hands dirty and learn about the plants and how they will help wildlife in care. This is a free event and everyone is welcome! Light refreshments will be provided on the day. |
