Driveway & Property Entrance

If you're planning to build or modify a driveway or property entrance, you'll need approval from Council. This includes work such as:

• Creating or changing a concrete layback
• Installing a piped culvert entrance
• Adding or altering a footpath crossover

All work must comply with Council's Design and Construction Specifications.

What You’ll Need to Apply

Before starting, make sure you have the following ready:

• A completed application form
• A plan showing the exact location of the proposed works
• Specifications for the proposed works
• Proof of current public liability insurance
• A Traffic Guidance Scheme (previously called a Traffic Control Plan)
• Two references of the contractor’s work experience, or two written endorsements from an authorised person (with contact details)
