If you're planning to build or modify a driveway or property entrance, you'll need approval from Council.
This includes work such as:
Creating or changing a concrete layback
Installing a piped culvert entrance
Adding or altering a footpath crossover
All work must comply with Council's Design and Construction Specifications.
Before starting, make sure you have the following ready:
A completed application form
A plan showing the exact location of the proposed works
Specifications for the proposed works
Proof of current public liability insurance
A Traffic Guidance Scheme (previously called a Traffic Control Plan)
Two references of the contractor’s work experience, or two written endorsements from an authorised person (with contact details)
