The Ordinary Meeting of Council enables Council to consider reports of its Committees and Officers, correspondence from ratepayers and to develop policy.
Ordinary Meetings of Council are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month, except when public holidays occur. Meetings are held at 6.00pm in the Council Chambers in the Wollondilly Shire Hall 44-60 Menangle Street, Picton.
Agendas are available two weeks before the meeting. They can be accessed online or hard copy free of charge upon request at Councils Administration Building. The advanced notice provides time for the public to make submissions at the Community Forum.
From time to time, an Extraordinary Meeting of Council may be called. For further information about any upcoming Extraordinary meetings, head to our Extraordinary Meetings of Council page.
An Extraordinary meeting will be held on Tuesday 19 March 2024 at 1pm.
Election material of any kind is not permitted to be displayed during Council Meetings or Community Forums.
Ordinary Meetings are open to the public in person, online via webcast and recorded.
In circumstances where agenda items are considered confidential the meeting will close to the public to consider these items only. In line with our adopted Code of Meeting Practice, members of the public can apply in advance to make representations as to why a matter should not be dealt with in closed session.
Requests to make representations on closed items must be made five (5) days prior to the date the meeting is to be held and are accepted by emailing governance@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au.
