Wollondilly 2040 is Council’s Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS). It was made and came into effect on 27 March 2020.
The Wollondilly Growth Management Strategy (GMS) is a policy document containing key directions and principles to guide planning proposals and Council decisions on growth.
Local Environmental Plans (LEPs) are legal documents which guide planning decisions on development and land use within local government areas. They do this through zoning and development controls, which set out what development can and cannot be undertaken on land.
Development Control Plans (DCP's) provide planning standards and controls to guide new development in Wollondilly. They are relevant to applications for development, e.g. Development Applications and requests to remove trees.
The Community Participation Plan (CPP) was developed to provide the community with a clear process of how and when Council will engage with the community in relation to proposed development and plan making across the Shire, including mandatory requirements for public exhibition in relation to its planning functions.
