Closes: 19/06/2020 5:00pm
Council is seeking comment on a Planning Proposal amend the minimum lot size map and rezone land located at Macquarie Place Tahmoor Lot 39 DP 1215451.
The Planning Proposal will be on public exhibition from 22 May 2020 to 19 June 2020.
The Planning Proposal seeks to amend Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan (WLEP) 2011, which is principal legislation that controls development and planning decisions for the Wollondilly Local Government Area. This amendment seeks to amend the minimum lot size map to apply two new minimum lot sizes for subdivision as follows:
Amend the minimum lot size of the land within the R2 Low Density Residential zone along the western boundary of the site from 4000m2 to 2000m2
Amend the minimum lot size of the remainder of land within the R2 Low Density Residential zone from 4000m2 to 700m2
The proposal also seeks to change the Land Use Zoning Map for land in the northern most part of the site adjacent to Myrtle Creek from R2 Low Density Residential to E2 Environmental Protection zoning and to amend the Natural Resources Water (NRW) map to remove the 50 metre buffer and retain the 30 metre buffer only.
The intent of the Planning Proposal is to enable the future subdivision of the land into twelve lots and to provide further protection to sensitive land adjoining the watercourse.
